
To Get Less Nervous once trying out for a Team, you have to be prepared. You need to Practice as much as possible before the tryout date. After that, Practice deep breathing. You must learn how to control your breathing much like meditation. You should Inhale slowly and deeply and exhale gradually when you focus on the feeling of the air filling your lungs and leaving your body.
You can repeat this technique for at least a week before and right before trying out for a team. Then, Think positively. You have to take your thoughts away from mistakes you might make and visualize the tryout going well. Next, scan the audience. You need to get to know their faces so they do not look like a sea of strangers.
